Bio
Elyse is involved in trial strategy and preparation on the firms’ PFAS and PCBs cases. She began her legal career at Hogan and Hartson, where she specialized in employment law. Elyse then spent 25 years as an innovator and leader in the nonprofit sector, where, as the founder and principal of the Grads of Life, she developed a novel approach to advancing economic opportunity in America working with the private sector to close the opportunity divide. She became a thought leader in the field and a key architect of the skills-first movement. She returned to legal practice in 2025 to bring her strategic and analytical skills to bear on cases headed to trial.
After law school Elyse clerked for the Judges William Wayne Justice of U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and Fred Parker of the U.S Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She attended the University of Texas School of Law and graduated Order of the Coif. She was member of the Texas Law Review as well as a founding member and Editor in Chief of the Texas Women’s Law Journal. Elyse is a graduate of Williams College.
